Error 244 "Invalid Model ID" reflashing stock ROM
 

For the life of me I can not reflash back to the sprint ROM, I am getting Error 244 "Invalid Model ID" every time. Someone told me to try and relock it first so I tried the diamond relocker and I am getting the same error when trying that. I need to get this thing working as soon as possible and I can't find this issue anywhere. Any ideas?

You used the diamond relocker on your touch pro? Is that correct?

Well I tried to use it and got the same error, should I be using a touch pro relocker? I am asking because the diamond locker is linked in this forum, I did not see a touch pro locker.

at exactly what part of the process are you getting this error at?

I am getting this after it starts the flash as the progress bar reaches 1%, then it stops the process and gives me the error.


There is some confusion now for me as I find two different files which claim to be stock sprint roms.

In the first post under the section titled "Available ROM List:" The first one is titled "Sprint Shipped
CE OS 19965 Build 19965, Radio 1.00.00F" and within the rar file is an exe, the next one is titled "Stock Sprint ROM (CE OS 19965 Build 19965)" with a file inside that has the extension 'nbh'.
What is the difference between stock and shipped stock? I tried to use the first one mentioned with the exe, the second one I have no idea how to use it.

You have the wrong unlocker more than likely and your phone thinks its a diamond. Shoudl be easy enouhg to fix.

Can you get to the OS and is the phone functional?

If so , try to relock with TP bootloader then only use shipped sprint RUU. Do not use a dumped ROM.

I can use the OS and the phone itself is functional, but the internet and SMS is not as I never configured it before flashing, so my intention was to get it back to stock and functional then flash it with mightyrom.


I gues I somehow DLed the wrong locker, I think you are right.

Alright I am perplexed and frusterated, I did the locker and it seems to work, but when I try to confirm in the tri colored screen (hold down volume press power and hit reset) it still says it is 'security unlocked'.

did you just download the correct (re)locker, or unlocker? Cause you said "locker" but you may have meant "unlocker"
