Re: su2u vs throttle lock what works better on TP?

Figured I'd chime in again since I changed my pocketshield settings recently.

Here's what I used to have it set to:
Unlock with slide and stylus out
Slide to answer/ignore with pocketshield dialer (removed the default dialer).
It worked almost perfectly - unlocking without there being a call was flawless, but sometimes (emphasis on sometimes) wouldn't slide when trying to answer/ignore - nothing hitting the talk/end hard keys couldn't fix. For the record, I never had a missed call because I was locked out of answering.

Here are my new settings (thanks to shadowdrake for pointing this one out):
Restored the default dialer (with s2a)
Left unlock with slide/stylus out as is
Set pocketshield to unlock on incoming call (s2a shows up perfectly)
Now I have ZERO lockups.

Granted, its not as customizable as s2u2, but I'd rather have a simplistic lock mechanism that just works 100% of the time rather than have something with a million customization options and have it either be really laggy or lock you out of your phone. Just my 0.02 - I know you ppcgeeks love your customization

Pocketshield Settings --> Phone Tab --> uncheck Lock on incoming calls (PSPP)

Also - disable the pocketshield replacement dialer if you did that to begin with.

Its not horrible. I dealt with that for a bit, but the more I used it the more I loved how absolutely reliable it was. So I just decided to plop down the money.

Re: su2u vs throttle lock what works better on TP?

just tried sunscape and throttle lock. Neither of these are compatible with rom versions that include slide 2 answer. The programs fight with each other with incoming calls. This is very unfortunate and personally I like throttle lock much more, I just wish it worked.

Thanks, I have been trying those settings the only disadvantage I see is it takes one additional incoming ring for the phone to respond. I can live with that.
