Re: su2u vs throttle lock what works better on TP?

Another PocketShield user here. I had been using S2U but was becoming very irritated with the inability to sometimes answer calls. It was just all around buggy and hit or miss on incoming calls.

Read about PocketShield on this thread and swapped to it. Works absolutely perfect on my TouchPro and I love the flexibility on multiple unlock ways.

I agree 100%

i use s2u2 and have tried the others as well. s2u2 is the least buggy i've found.

Again with this :/ Sorry hibby I don't mean to absolutely discredit you, but I'll even make a video documenting the change to show you what it does. It has nothing to do with the performance of Pocketshield at all, that's just the value (in .001 lumens) that pocketshield uses to unlock.

In beta 2.5.0.15 the LSEN registry key was added, and the pocketshield team added a calibration utility in reference to this thread on their forums:
http://www.pocketshield.net/phorum/read.php?3,739

Other information can be found here, though the thread has been cleaned up through the beta process:
http://www.pocketshield.net/phorum/read.php?3,1136

If you can provide me some proof as to what you think it's doing, and a better description than just "makes it run better" I'll take your word for it.

Re: su2u vs throttle lock what works better on TP?

No harm in challenging I see what you mean, but my point is if you are in a kinda dark room, it may not unlock. The sensor is not very sensitive. It detects rooms as dark when they arent that dark. So this would have it unlock in more conditions while staying locked in your pocket, pouch, etc. If you simply go into an ill lit room it will come up as 0 so I am pretty sure the phone will not unlock in the pocket with a value of 1.

I actually found s2u2 to be by far & away the buggiest locking app there is when you are using it in a TouchPro.

It always worked great in my old Titans, but I went through probably four versions in my TP before giving up & none of them worked perfectly like PocketShield does.

My sentiments exactly. S2U2 worked fine on my Mogul, but was really buggy on my TouchPro. 75% of the time on an incoming call I would get the answer screen with a S2U2 window behind it and unable to do anything. I too tried several different versions, even one's that were suppose to be specific to the TouchPro.
