active sync doesn't use any power at all. if you hit your running programs and click the x to stop it, as soon as you get on the net it pops back up again.no worries my friend.

It has to use some power to sync the correct time with the network. I understand it uses no power while running idle in the background, but is the power it uses to sync time completely insignificant?

I wouldnt worry bout it man, I do have a data monitor(spb wireless), I checked yesterday usage, and it is 0.1k,this whole month 121 kb, that is nothing dude. I will check again just in case , usage is phuked up due to soft reset...generally it is no worry

This is what I was thinking too. I gotta get Nue's power meter and keep watching it after I set the time to be wrong, then select update time option and see what it does.
