Great job with the pictures Oxymoron238. That's way too thick for my taste. I'm usually near a charger, but have a spare stock battery from my first TP if I need more juice. I also have the Sprint Portable Power Pack if I'm ever really in a pinch.

I've found the spare stock battery is more than enough additional power on days when I'm away from a charger for an extended period of time.

As for the size issue, as developers say, "It's not a bug, it a feature".

Who has the best price on it? Is $79 on Ebay as good as it gets?

I just ordered one of these on Ebay for $75.00 shipped. I love the Touch Pro but the battery life sucks if your streaming XM or listening to mp3s at work. It was either this or buy an ipod which I didn't want to do. It gets old quick running out of juice half way through your work day and have to listen to co-workers go on and on..... This will be my work battery and i'll use the stock one for the weekends. Thanks for the pictures, i'm man enough to handle the size increase.

Well a new development with mine.
I decided to try a trick I found on here about using rubbing alcohol to put on a screen protector without bubbles, worked pretty well.

But i got some alcohol on the gold of the battery cover. now since I'd had the cover a while, there were a few places where the gold had already rubbed off, specifically around the corners.
The alcohol accellerated this a LOT. The gold just started to almost flow off. So I just used one of the cotton balls I already had out and took the rest of the gold off. Its a shiney black plastic cover now.

i have 4 regular batteries keep em in my pack and change them out throughout the day better than carrying a brick in my pocket. got them all for free too

I am so tempted to get this battery... I guess I would have to see this beast in person.... whats the return policy on this bad boy?
