Now your phone can double as a weapon to would be thugs.

Just make sure you explain to TSA that it's not a block of C4.

Re: 3000 mah Extended Battery Pictures

Is the battery lithium polymer? Is so they should have used lots of that empty space and fit a 5000-6000 mah battery. The cover missing the lens cover as someone said is a deal breaker.

Hope this helps.

Re: 3000 mah Extended Battery Pictures

I'm actually preferring the 2000 right now... simply because of the size. I don't normally worry about bulk, but it's a little tough to get the phone in and out of my pocket. I haven't really broken in any of the batteries yet, so I'll wait a little bit and see which one I like.

I've been following this thread and getting some extra opinions

Re: 3000 mah Extended Battery Pictures

I say if your going to add bulk, go all out...

That said I will prolly be ordering the 3000 this weekend and post my results once it's broken in.

Re: 3000 mah Extended Battery Pictures

So after couple days of test... I have to say again that I am VERY impressed! After an average day of use (7 AM to 8 PM) it's only down to 80%. With the stock? 40% at best.

Now an update on the case that would fit with this battery cover....

I was at Fry's this evening (my candy store) and I was browsing around. I decided to go to the cellphone cases section and try my luck.

This is what I found: http://www.caselogic.com/vertical_le...modelid=101934 for $20.

To my surprise, it's actually a very NICE fit. Snug and a bit tight but after some uses it'll lose up a bit and it'll be a perfect fit. Even has open on the bottom so you can plug it in while it's in the case. It has a magnetic flip so it's very easy to access.

I attached some photos of the case with the phone in there with the 3000 mAh battery cover. I had to admit it is a little tight fit but after couple days I am sure it'll lose up enough since it's leather.

So for those who are interested...

Re: 3000 mah Extended Battery Pictures

Thats like walking around with a brick in your pocket.

Seriously I dont have any batt issues at all. If you soend too much time talking on your phone to wear the stock batt down in an 8 hour period you have way too much time on your hands and need to get a life.
