[Updated 1/21]Black Slide to Answer Fully Functional
 

Juggalo_X posted his version a few days ago, however, the call history and calendar button were different from the rest of the buttons in the in-call menu and the Save contact feature was jumbled. I re-did the images to match and added the missing files for the save contact feature. Here are the screenshots:

NOTE: This is the CDMA version. The ## codes will work, the data connection will show idle when it is, THERE IS NO CURTAIN!


1/21 UPDATE:
I compressed the bitmaps, the weird thing is, the size of the cab file got larger but when extracted, I saved about 2MB of space. I also cleaned up the slider a bit.

My cab should be working fine. there was a missing image in the black skin. beauty of doing cab work while you're supposed to be doing re a work lol

good stuff though, my cab does not include the call history screen. :)

great work. i d/l the black version for my girlfriend and she was complaining about the save to contacts being scrambled. She is excited about the fix. I have the white version though. Can you post a white version with the save to contacts fixed? Thanx

I have been using your black version Juggalo, but the in call curtain is not working on it? Is there something I need to do to get it to work? I really liked that feature.

I love the idea of slide to answer...I was just wondering is anyone having issues at all with this..?...Does this work like the stock dialer, etc..?...And will it cause any conflict with my custom taskbar or anything?

That is a GSM feature It breaks the data connection icons when it is added so you cant see when data is sending or not

Wont mess anything up at all thats why juggalo made it ;-)

I don't know about your white dialer cab, but the black dialer cab was missing the images for save to contact which is why it was all scattered. I did the call history seperate because I don't know how many people will like it. Now, i need to find the incoming and outgoing icons so I can invert those too

So if I am using the version that was on XDA that has the sliding curtain and haven't noticed anything wrong...are you saying that it is messing up my data connection icons?

I just installed this version and it seems pretty good, though it seems like it takes a bit longer for the ringer to start playing and it doesn't go directly to the S2A screen when the screen "wakes up"...I can see my normal home screen for a few seconds before it switches to the S2A screen...is that normal?

What are the main differences between Ruskiyab's version and Juggalo's version?!?

And boy, it would be sweet to get that curtain functioning correctly...I already miss it from the older XDA version I was using, but Skelator03 said - it was in fact messing up my icons. Is there a way to tweak this version so the screen does go to sleep? The backlight goes off but the screen never fully goes to sleep which I realize is normal, but I think I'd like mine to go off...seems to me there should be a relatively easy fix for that.

Hey Juggalo thanks for all your hard work. I installed your black dialer on a fresh hard reset. I had it working great for about three to our hours, thats including calls coming in and going out. Than after that time i ram into a problem. I slid open the keyboard and instead of only the action screen popping up the black dialer popped up for about 3-4 seconds and disappears. When i slide the keyboard back up the same thing happens from that point on until i do a soft reset. Even after the soft reset, a few hours later the bug pops up again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks and take care.

What I posted is all you need.

And you don't need the inverted call log cab unless you want it. The Dialer will work without it

Does this dialer have any effect on the time it takes the phone to ring? I saw one post where someone said it takes a little longer, but was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same issue. I am fine if it does not change the lag time, but I don't think I could handle an increase in that time. Thanks

no doubt that they work but the save to contacts screen is still jumbled. I have recently done a hard reset on my phone and have not yet put back netframe, could that be causing the problem?

is there any way to make the background change with the TF3D wallpaper? or tell me what i need ot change and i will edit it myself. i can't report anything just yet, but will mess with it tmr at work.

OK I finally got this installed and tried it out. It looks great. My only problem is when I get a call I can still answer it with the hard button. Do I need to change a setting somewhere?

This dialer wasn't supposed to disable the keys, in fact there isn't one that does. you'd have to get another program that does that. Why would you want to not be able to use the buttons anyways?

mr hawaii's works great on my stock sprint rom. i had it on my first tp and now 2nd one works great too. curtain and all. no problems with data, answering ... no problems at all. tried this one and it gave my issues off rip !! just me 2 cents !! good job though !! but they should have left other thread open !! just saying !!

What kind of issues? MrHawaii's version was ported over from the GSM side, data worked, however the arrows will not gray out, they would stay active which was a big deal to some people. The ## codes also work with this version. This one is actually made for a CDMA device. The only difference is that this one looks more complete and the curtain is gone (personally, I did not like the curtain)

LOL I thought that was the main purpose of the S2A program, so we don't accidentally answer or hang up on someone pulling the phone out of the holster. Anyways, I seen other pics of this program that also change the contacts list. Can that be incorporated into this one?

Just to clarify things, this is not some 3rd party program. This is extracted from the leaked sprint rom. All I did was basically edit the skin. This is the way it operates, it does not have any other settings. What do you mean by

I was thinking that this was the contacts list but I just realized it is the call log. I guess because it doesnt have the buttons on the botton and its in russian through me off. Is there a way to make the call log like this and also the contacts list? I now pocketcm will change it but its still a little buggy.

That's not the call log, well it sort of is. When you get to the phone screen, if you either scroll down far enough or manually hide the keypad, that is what will show up

Why is the original cab still up is what I am wondering?

Thanks for redoing the work on this from the GSM to the original ported CDMA to this!

I will miss the curtain but I like the idea of a fully functioning dialer. :)

Good point. The compressed cab, takes up less space when installed ~2MB and the slider is greatly improved (no more grey outline) Although I'm sure the old one is on there "just in case"

This dialer look really nice but I would love to know if we could get the curtain to work. That is the only issue I have with the Touch Pro.
