That's why you always back up the system with something like SPB or Sprite first before trying something like this. That way, if TF or anything else gets all messed up all you need to do is hard reset & restore your BU.

Even if you have the original files, there is no guaranty that reinstalling them will fix the problem & revert it exactly the way it was before.

is there anyway to disable or remove that mute ringer button.. the slide to answer ignore is great but my mute button keep being tapped...

Good point... It would be nice to get rid of it, or maybe add a one-way slider to mute

Hi . I have aready make black the keypad , but the slider of the new rom , was white. So i installed the cdma black s2a.cab and, the slider became black. It worked . But now i have another problem. The keypad was in Greek. After it became english. Is there anything i can do to keep it Greek? Thanks,

when i installed the cab and someone calls me, the top of their picture gets cut off. has this happened to anyone else?

the best thing about the skin is the slide to answer and ignore... so u dont pickup / hangup by accident

... with the mute push button... accidents are happening... for ex: the phone is in my case and when the phone rings i hear one ring then nothing.. and i am like... was that just my phone.. and i look and there it is with an incoming call... so the ringer is getting muted many times by accident... why not take this theme all the way and make all features accident proof

Agreed... If we don't have some sort of protection for the mute button, then we are defeating the purpose...

Hi,

I'm new here and I really like this dialer. I have a Bell HTC Touch that I have installed a new ROM on it. I did install it but upon reboot I cannot see all the numbers in the dialer because they are too big and I can only see the number 1 and 2. I was wondering if this app was made for my HTC Touch and if not is there one for my phone?

can we make it to where the picture id doesn't get cut off by the curtain? If we had this then this would be perfect? Just a small flaw I know but it would be perfect without this defect

This worked perfectly, no bugs on my phone. I'm using OMJ's rom and the 1.1 new Sprint radio. I wish the slide to unlock could be incorporated as this looks so elegant compared to it.

1/21 UPDATE:
I compressed the bitmaps, the weird thing is, the size of the cab file got larger but when extracted, I saved about 2MB of space. I also cleaned up the slider a bit.

This is a great dialer , i know this seems odd. , but im not sure how to flash this in my phone.,the cab is just a bunch of files.,sometimes i just extract to my sd card and extract cab to the phone but thats not working on this?

DO NOT USE THIS S2A BS! i installed it on my TP and had problems with contact information. When i selected a contact to call, the number showed up as 'Unknown Caller' Even if i selected from my phonebook, still showed up as 'Unknown Caller' Also, when receiving calls FROM CONTACTS, take a guess, 'Unknown Caller' "Fully functionally" can kiss my *** because it's anything but functional. Had to restore with Sprite Backup.

Yep, you're right... no one else should use it because it didn't work for you

ruskiyab it works great and i have it cooked into my roms. thank you.

i would like to see some minor fixes in the future like maybe change the mute button and contacts photo, but thats just icing on the cake :)

This is pretty much nothing more than just a skin for the newest dialer. It's not a custom dialer I made or anything. I just found this skin, and edited it a bit the basic functionality of it is not up to me

Does this version remove the top bar that says "incoming call" when an incoming call is received that tends to chop part of the top portion of the caller id?

This dialer is totally awesome for a free program, but if you want an even better s2a (& you don't mind paying for it) try the newest version of PocketShield.

PS has an awesome green/red s2a screen that slides from the top down (green on the left, red on the right) & has no "mute ring" button to screw things up. The contact photos show up in awesome almost full screen & since it uses a black skinned version of the WinMo dialer it rings a good 2-3 rings sooner than the HTC setup.

Lets all uninstall this WORKING app cause this one person screwed up his phone somehow. lmao Did you bother reading thru all the pages and see how many people run this SUCCESSFULLY? Your pretty much the only person who has any type of issues what so ever with this. So please before you put your foot back in your mouth stop think read research then post. that being said lets try fixing your MISTAKES and get this to work for you. What steps got you to were you are now?

I'm thinking about a bit of a redesigned dialer is in the making. I think I want squared off buttons and an all black background... Now only if I had the time

That's something you can take up with HTC, nothing I can do about it besides make it a different color or something

yea, one of the best things about the PocketShield version is that all it has is answer & ignore -there is no mute button to screw things up.........

u use pocketshield to answer and ignore calls...right
are u then defaulting back to the WM default dialer and removing htc volume... is that the setup u are running?

You don't have to but you'd have to find an older version of phonecanvas without the slide to answer to make it more effective I would think

That is correct.

I would rather use the HTC dialer skin, but using the WinMo default dialer completely eliminates the incoming ring lag (it rings a good 2-3 rings faster with the WinMo skin than it does using the bloated HTC POS)

I could use the PS s2a with the HTC skin (it works either way). I just choose not to.
