I started this thread and I'm sick of all the legal crap getting thrown in here. In all technicality, the ROMs on this site break copyrights with many different companies, and frankly I'm getting tired of hearing illegal this, illegal that.

yea dont bash saus! i could do this on my 5 y/o korcera k9 from virgin mobile! It's obviously legal in all but 12 states so cut the crap and move on.

IT IS legal, only if YOU NOTIFY THE OTHER PARTY THAT YOU ARE RECORDING

is obviously referring to THIRD PARTY recording. Dropping random law quotes into a post without the entire context is silly and misleading, and besides, I'm sure that like any law, it's open to litigation and legal interpretation. Best to just inform the other party if you plan to use a recording for legal purposes.

Okay, drop the legality issue of the topic, no one cares. If we all gave a rat's rosy red rectum if it was legal or not, no one would be here in PCC geeks editing registries, cracking their phones, modifying what towers you use, editing things the way you want and not having it how the company wanted it to be used, and so on and so fourth.

Just shut up about the legalities, period, end it, NOW.

If the legality of this thread bothers you, hit alt+f4 or the back button and go somewhere else and watch your teletubby porn.
