What version of Exchange is your company running?
The tech at the help desk thought we were on 2003 but moving to 2007 and that I may already be on 2007.

You should be able to tell by looking at Webmail.

Forgive my ignorance, but I don't know where to find which OS the server is running from the webmail. Our webmail address is:

owa.stanleyworks.com

You might be able to identify it that way?

Re: Company Exchange Server Issues

If your company is migrating to Exchange 2007 and your mailbox just got moved this could very be the issue.

Hopefully this is sufficient. I'm pretty sure this is the 2007 interface.

Re: Company Exchange Server Issues

So I just flashed to JD's ROM 5.0 and was able to sync my hotmail email to the phone now, but can't sign into messenger. Says that I don't have a signal. This may be completely unrelated to the exchange issue, but figured it was worth mentioning as windows live said I my cert was invalid.

With that said, I still cannot sync with the exchange server.

Re: Company Exchange Server Issues

I work for the IT dept at the company 5harkology works for just pmed with more details but the causes described in earlier posts are pretty accurate depending on how he got his device - if you have exchange 07 and 03 servers in the same environment, it can cause activesync issues if your on the 03 box because the 07 box will take precedence thus not allowing device connectivity to the 03. other possibility is that connectivity was restricted from his account.
