Yeah, maybe I'll try a stock ROM first.

SndTubes - The waking up issue you had.. did you have S2U2?

I'm running the stock ROM as well, with few to no problems. I did have the occassional issue with s2u2, so I deleted that. I found that, as long as only the power button was accessible when off, I didn't really need to have a separate locking program.

I'd be curious if removing s2U2 would help.

I don't have any of those issues either but I could NEVER get s2u2 to work in the TP (I use PocketShield & that works perfectly for me).

When I got the TP (I have a Sprint TP flashed with the leaked vz ROM & activated on Verizon), I had every intention of disabling TF3D immediately & running Ultimate Launcher like I had in my Titan's. TF3D works so smoothly in my TP that I have stuck with it however (I have no lag whatever) & really gotten to like it at this point.

Ok. Next step is to pull S2U2 then. I'll try it for a few days and see if it works any better.

One more big question. SMS texting and word suggestions. WHAT THE HELL is up with that? Every other word I type brings up a faded word on the screen, after I type the next word it inserts the "suggested" word without asking me in any way. I cannot type a 5 word SMS without having to delete each suggested word. I have word completion off. "Suggest words while typing" is off. Is it something in the threaded SMS program I can change?

I've had problems with S2U2 and Throttlelock both not allowing my device to wake up...I just use the device lock on it now either with second today or long press on my end key.

As far as slow...I have the Sprint TP so I can't really say since there is a huge ram difference but my flies with the speed tweaks.

Wow it seems you have a bad unit. I haven't had any of those problems not even with S2U2. Personally, I would return it, but I'm on Sprint. Maybe it's because Verizon sucks. LOL. Seriously though, the reason I'm posting is to say there is noooo way a 6700 or 6800 is ever going to measure up to a Touch Pro so you should exhaust all options before you give up on it. Good luck.

Maybe in your area, it blows away Sprint where I live (that's why I have a Sprint TP but use verizon service, I had Sprint for 2 years)

I recently converted two Sprint TP's to run on vz service as a favor to a couple guys I met recently who didn't realize that mod was even possible. What really surprised me was when I found out that both guys work in a Sprint Kiosk in a local mall, but have vz service on their own personal cell phones.........

Same here. After trying all the different locking apps, I finally settled on PocketShield (the latest version works quite well, earlier versions where buggy). ThrottleLock was causing me to miss incoming calls, when it would refuse to unlock while the phone was ringing....

I can believe that. I only said that jokingly, because IMO, which company is better is purely situational. I think Sprint is better from my experiences in my situation, but I'm sure everyone here would have their own opinion.
