not confusing cuz you came up with it, lol. Maybe a drawing like in paint or something would help with your diagrams. the whole virtual line button stuff is confusing, either that or its cuz I pulled an all-nighter.

i understand what you are saying, but most people (me included) dont have small enough fingertips to just press the small space between the send/home and end/back areas of the buttons even if someone could write the software for this... i could see alot of "fat finger" dialing and so forth. sorry to rain on the parade

I understand what you are getting at, but do we know for sure that it is one big "click" button with cap touch areas overlaid? If so then there should be some reg entries somewhere defining the areas, correct?

would be nice to have soft keys or a win key and ok key, but i just remapped my startmenu to long press send key and i deal that way...
