Resetting voicemail count and number of rings before voicemail picks up

Hi everyone-

First time poster, long time lurker...

Well, I searched high and low on this forum and in my phone settings and I just can't seem to find the answers to (hopefully) a couple of easy questions.

1) How do I reset my voicemail notification on the Touch Pro? I have no new messages but the icon at the top and the "1 New Voicemail" message on the TF3D home screen will not go away.

2) How do I increase or decrease the number of rings before voicemail picks up? Right now it seems to ring randomly somewhere between 3-5 times before the call goes to VM. I think I am experiencing the ring delay issue that others have mentioned, but I cannot seem to find a good fix for that either.

1. You have to go to your voicemail box and mark the message as read (9) or delete it (7)
If it still sticks, go to Start>Settings>Phone>Clear Voicemail Icon

2. This is controlled by the network. I don't think there's a way to change it.

Diamondtweak can address your ring delay issues... give it a try, it also has many other tweaks packed in i promise you'll like it.

I also use it to change my ringer type so that it vibrates 3 times and then the ringer increases in volume... sheer brilliance

I had already installed Diamondtweak. I went back thru and found the setting for "ring without delay". Hopefully that will help. Thanks for the tip!

Now, if we could just control the amount of rings before the call goes to VM!

I had already installed Diamondtweak. I went back thru and found the setting for "ring without delay". Hopefully that will help. Thanks for the tip!

Underneath the "Call" heading --> 1.7 --> Ring Time

I set it to Without Delay which is supposed to disable ring delay for incoming calls.

Yea that doesn't do anything for me.

I'm not sure how effective it is... seems marginally faster when i call my phone from a landline and toggle the seetings to test. could also be just placebo though.
