I try using HTC GPS Tool and I get 1 sat used but no locks.

Use 57600 baud and you should be good. I don't think it works with 4800 baud. There are some posts in the middle of this thread that reference that, but the first post is wrong.

Bored, can you update the first post? (I'll also try to IM him here).

The GPS fix works great. I haven't tried the aGPS fix yet. How complicated is that?

Where do I get wmodemdriver from?

Also, does anyone know..........
What kind of hit does the battery take by leaving LOCATION ON?
Is the battery hit even more with this aGPS fix and the GPS is actually always on?

Sounds great to have an always on GPS. Really opens up the possibilities, but I was really curious if that's going to be a big hit to the battery if the phone is constantly tracking where it is.

Is the aGPS fix easily reversable? If so, how?

bored, my aGPS fix cab you have linked in the first post is meant for the Titan and won't suffice for the Touch Pro.

You should replace that one with this one.

The programming in QPST still needs to be applied as well.

Hey so now my phone is stuck in roaming mode, can somone please help me fix this?
Have i screwed myself over since im with telus not verizon??

the fix runs on my stock rom,

but i no longer get EVDO i only get 1X (even when the gps is not running)

anybody else having the same issue?

Unless someone has a modified Telus PRL, then you'll need to flash back to the Telus PRI in order to get rid of the roaming. Right now you have a Telus device, a Sprint PRI, and a Verizon PRL. That's why it says you're roaming.

Open EPST by dialing ##778 send. Enter 000000 for unlock code. Click on View Info at the bottom and choose Modem Settings. Check to see if HDR Hybrid Preferred is set to Enable.

Hey thanks alot GC14, can you explain how to do the flash back. Im not really good when it comes to this kinda stuff. Sorry for the trouble

Has anyone had any luck with getting the GPS Photo function to work? I've got my GPS unlocked now, but the camera program doesn't seem to have a way to set what port it should be connection to.
