6/8/09 FIRMWARE UPDATE: Verizon GPS Unlocked

OK! I followed all instructions in Primary Thread post #1 to the letter. I even read it 3 times before attempting, As so not to screw things up. Everything Went Smoothly. It even appeared it had worked. However, After powering up from the final reset, When i am in a phone call, The other person cannot hear me.

Also, I just thought i would check Settings > Device Information to check the ROM date. After Using this Update, I was thinking it should be dated 6/8/09, but it still says 3/18/09.

I have the
HTC TouchPro
RAPH500
1.08.605.4 ROM ver.
1.03.09V Radio ver.
51926 PRI. ver.

I also should mention that during the *228 phone call, My phones Screen Header specifically says "SPL Unlocked". I'm guessing that is saying i do not need to run any unlockers. And if that is correct, I shouldnt be having any problems whatsoever.

"SPL unlocked" doesnt mean the phone is unlocked. when your in bootloader what are the other numbers on the screen.

Are you referring to the little red text that comes up just before the Verizon Boot Screen?

NO, im talking about the list of numbers thats in the boot loader screen or its sometimes called the tri colored screen.

Ive been trying to open the bootloader. Unless ive been doing it wrong. Ok, now this is gonna sound really stupid. Where do i find the power button on this phone. The way i shut this phone off is, i press and hold the button that is located on top (if standing it on end in portrait mode). If that is the correct button, then pressing that and the volume down button at the same time while pressing the reset with my stylus is not working. The phone was on when going this i might add.

So im batting .1000avg. here with the luck im having.

the top button is the power button. that should work. i just tried it and holding power, vol down and pressing the rest went right to bootloader. dont need to hold the reset, just press it and hold the other two.

Yep, I'm in the Bootloader now... I wasn't holding the 2 buttons after hitting the reset long enough. I was releasing all three at the same time. But digress...

above the "Red" bar there is red text that says, "Security Unlocked".

Inside the "Red" bar there is yellow text. It says,

"RAPH500
SPL-0.40.0000
MicroP-Raph (LED) v8182"

In the "Green" bar it also has yellow text. It says,

"MicroP-Raph (KEY) v0682
PSOC-Raph STAGE_EVT v20"

There is no text in the "Blue" bar.

At the bottom in the "White" area it says, "Serial" in black text.

Are you by any chance, connected to some external device, like with Bluetooth? What icons does the top status bar show, on your phone?

you are not unlocked. your SPL would say 0.37.cmonex if it was unlocked. that might be why its not working.

Ok, I have Flashed my phone with the VzW Unlocker which i have verified in the bootloader screen by it saying 0.35.cmonex.

Unfortunately i still have no external speaker or microphone working.
What would be the next plan of attack??

Are you by any chance, connected to some external device, like with Bluetooth? What icons does the top status bar show, on your phone?

I checked, And no, i dont have anything externally connected. My visible icons on the top bar on my todays screen are as follows.

1. a white square with the letters Ev inside it.
2. upside down triangle with bars under it. (Connection signal) i think.
3. Speaker Icon (with 3 lines coming out) not X'd
4. Clock icon

Thats it...
