For those having Sprint GPS problems would this work?

1. Flash to VZW 1.03.03 shipped Radio Rom
2. Go through the procedure as per |||Bored|||'s instructions

ya and they ended up with a phone that constantly showed it roaming

this is for verizon only.... all other carriers i know of are unlocked so if you have gps problems its because of the setup not the PRI

Sorry for a stupid newbie question, but this thread is 106 pages long.

Is post #1 the latest and greatest fix for the Verizon Touch Pro? Or is there a newer fix / instructions buried somewhere in the thread? I noticed it said "Phase III in progress" and didn't know if there was something newer.

I just tried the instructions mentioned by bored.

When I run the HTC GPC Tool, I get up to 8-9 Sat, but 0 fixed Sat. Does anyone know a resolution to this problem?

p.s. I have a Verizon HTC TP.

Take the phone out side and see if that helps. Also make sure "Location on" is checked.

If you are seeing any sats, the fix is working. The first time getting a fix will take longer as there is extra stuff that needs to be done. You're best solution is to go outside away from any buildings or line of sight obstructions. The more sky you can see, the better.

It's good you mentioned what phone you have and you should be set.
BTW, this fix is ONLY for the Verizon HTC TP (xv6850)
