Re: Laggy Keyboard Fix

Hey. Im having some issues with my TP keyboard. Sometimes its not responding at all whenever i try to type anything and the keyboard lights would go off. To get it going i gotta put it back to sleep and wake it up. Another problem is when i was typing it would hang for a couple of seconds then catch up with a lot of space between previous word and the word it just typed and sometimes I get a bunch of letters like i have stuck key. Does anyone have this too? Should i ask for replacement TP? I did try putting stock ROM back on and tested it out and i could see it happening too.

lag problem:
HKCU\ControlPanel\KeyBd
InitialDelay=125 (original value 375)
RepeatRate=2 (original value 8 )

disable (XT9):
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Layouts\e0010409]
"ime file"="compime.dll"
"layouttext"="COMP IME"
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\SIP]
"SuggWords"=dword:0

Re: Laggy Keyboard Fix

maybe add this tweak and see if it works, in order to turn off T9 by default change the value:

HKLM\Software\Tegic\eT9\IME\CarrierDefaultTextMode

from "1" to "0"
