Yup, that works great! And changes the default icon for JPG's! :) :)

Wait, so it makes the icon for images what they were before? Not the unknown icon, right?

mine were the core player icon...I just used resco explorer...clicked & held on a pic with the stylus which opened a pop up menu......click open ...open with......choose {highlite} pictures & video or whatever you want.....then tick the the box at the bottom "always use this program to open this file type"....click done and all pics now open with that program....still have the icons though but will try memaid or clear temp and reset and see what happens....after running memaid clearing orphaned icons & soft reset icons were back to normal

exactly, it changes it to the app icon (same as Windows XP/Vista).

Ok, I'm havin' a small problem with this ... I tried using my resco registry edit, but I can't seem to find where I can change the album.exe.

Can someone assist.

I use Total Commander, there is a screenshot above that shows you how to do this (in Total Commander).

I had this working awhile back but now when i try to open a picture it just opens my default album and does not open the picture i am trying to view. Any suggestions???

Have you tried recreating the association with TotalCommander?

yes i tried that but did not change anything. each time I open a picture it just opens my favorite album. I tried changing my favorite album it changes in tf3d but when i try to open a picture form anywhere else it opens the photo album i had set as favorite before. any other ideas.

Ok i tried it again and now all is well thanks. Weird it did not change anything the first time.
