Re: Video Cable on Ebay
Wow! You could have done it yourself per instructions on this forum, for $5 worth of ingredients at most, and 5 minutes of your time. It's amazing that people try to profit off these instructions - and more amazing that people would announce that they purchased this item.
I literally bought a 3.5mm adapter from ebay for $4, a camcorder cable for $1 from a dollar store - broke pin 4 on the adapter, and made that cable that someone's so proudly selling for $26 shipped. |

Well done MacGyver , Also amazing that someone would announce buying a cable at the dollar store since it's such a high quality place. =D> |

Re: Video Cable on Ebay
What's wrong with buying something from the dollar store... Sure as hell beats paying $15 for the same product elsewhere.

It's so disappointing that I actually learned something while making 2 cables 2 different ways, and actually kept that money in my pocket. . . sigh. |

I am glad that I have angered you and wasted your time going on a pointless chase to see if you can find your reflection somewhere...lol...as you have already wasted my time and many others with your bs claims. You can tell everyone all day long that all they have to do is buy this or that, cut this or that, and say "that's all there is to it" BUT that is not the truth. Anyone that has read this thread, and not just getting here late or being a copy of you, will understand exactly what I mean by everything does not always "just work" or end up looking like a showcase item. end game/ |

Re: Video Cable on Ebay
And you keep going! LOL! Just by reading your last couple posts, someone can see that you're a liar at best and a scammer at worst. And despite whatever you might say - I don't care what others think, I'm just trying to show diy options on this forum that worked for me so others can make better and often cheaper decisions.
Your role on this thread has been like that of an infomercial where a person initially fails at something amazingly simple, like chopping an onion. "Oh no, it's too hard to break a pin or cut this cable. And oh my god, the super glue gets everywhere it's ugly and difficult! Wah! It's worth it to buy this $39 cable instead!" And of course you're going to tell others that they can't go through Sprint and get extusb adapters - though another forum member has stated otherwise. You've been selling them for bloated prices on this very forum! if people don't buy yours, how are you going to fund the crack habit that so obviously has produced your diminished mental faculties?!?! Seriously, RI, thanks for the laughs. Though I'll probably eventually feel guilty for laughing at someone who may have severe disabilities. |

Re: Video Cable on Ebay
just cut the blue wire in the dongle that came with the phone. and yes, i bought ipod cables at a dollar store, for a dollar... i mean seriously... the phone puts out 640x480, its not exactly high quality video that we're outputting. i've actually used high quality cables, and there's absolutely no difference.
