Point of clarification, since this is new again

If a person has an account that is eligible through Sprint for $150 toward the purchase of a new phone, and the person goes to BestBuy, what happens when they renew their contract for two years?

Is that $150 included in the "upgrade" and "renewal price" so that the total is $199 + Tax out the door?

That's what I was trying to do. Use my "Premier" account status.
I think the issue was they only wanted to do the 1 year contract.

It's 199 + tax with the 2 year upgrade discount figured in.

I would go back to the store in bloomington and have them call sprint, and talk to them, they will probably ok it

They did that for me

You mean that after the call to Sprint from BB, you ended up paying what? $60? $199 ?

This sux! I just signed with sprint on Saturday this past weekend and got the TP. I paid much more at the Sprint store even with the rebate. I wonder if there is anyway to get some more money off? Anyone have this happen recently and get sprint to credit some money back?

im in the same boat. i have sprint premiere account, good to upgrade online for 2yrs(whenever that will be available, but BB only shows 1yr. i tried before, but they said that sprint premiere was different and cannot be used with bestbuy.

there has to be a way....

even at the store, they wont give my the sprint premiere discount??? that doesnt make sense at all. i will try to bring the flier in, to price match. Has anyone been able to do this lately?

tovia, i paid 199+tax i spent a while there, also if you want beforehand call retentions, and tell them you want to upgrade and your phone has issues and put notes in the account, then tell bb to call and then they can read the notes, I had them call with no notes, and they forced it thru for me.

ffyter, good luck with sprint, although some had luck with it, I had this issue and talked to about 10 people or so, I returned it to the store, then went to BB like 2-3 days later, after they showed the phone returned and got it at BB. You may be able to do it right away, I had issues becuase when i was at bb the sprint store was closed and i guess didnt show the phone bacl

BestByu here wouldn't call Sprint. He looked it up online. I've called and emailed Sprint several times about my Asurion refurb Mogul that sucks pig balls. Yesterday afternoon when I got back from BestBuy I spoke to Sprint and they too told me I could have the TP for $579 minus the $100 rebate and minus my $75 upgrade rebate so it'd cost me over $400 and I would have to extend my contract 2 more years. I told them no thanks. If I'm spending $400, I may as well go the Ebay route and not extend the contract.

I just picked up my Sprint Touch Pro from Best Buy yesterday.

This is replacing a Motorola Q9C.

I'm just learning all of its functions, but so far I like it.

Everones right...........battery power seems terrible..

I hope I got a good unit though.......

Thanks to this forum, I was able to learn much about this phones good and weak points.

play with your phone till you get comfortable with it them when you have read the upgrade forums and are 100% comfortable most of the custom roms have much improved battery life. (i can go a day and a half with light useage.)
