Has there been a gps lag fix yet???

So I wonder if there has been a fix yet, I was tryin to search it but couldn't find anything. one thing I hate with the pro is that it doesn't make a noise using live search gps before a turn like it did on the mogul....so anything??

I don't believe so... Maybe in a future ROM update from Sprint or whoever your carrier is.. But until then, good luck!

I'm still hoping for this as well. The GPS is almost unusable for me for all practical purposes.

You guys are having GPS issues? Using SprintNav? I live in Minneapolis and have had no problems w/ it whatsoever. I did have an issue trying to run it when not having even a Roam signal, but that was in rural Iowa where I knew it wouldn't work.

Unless your on Verizon, which wouldnt suprise me that it dont work, I have no GPS issues with my Sprint TP.

Do you have Quick GPS in your programs?

Mine pops up every 6 days asking to download new data.

Takes 5-10 seconds for the GPS to work with iGo8 on my phone.

The problem isn't with the program not working. The problem is that the map lags anywhere from 50 yards to nearly 1/4 mile. (i.e. The gps will show you at an intersection long after you've p***** it)

Not really having a problem with mine either. It doesn't scroll across the screen smooth like a dedicated GPS (TomTom/Garmin) but for all intensive purposes, it functions well for me.

My Live Search beeps on my Touch Pro just as it did on my Touch when you're approaching a turn. I used it when I was in DC (where the blocks are a lot smaller than they are here in Miami) and that's when I noticed the GPS was a little behind. If I missed a turn LiveSearch would reroute to the next turn, which I'd already be passing by the time it kicked in. I don't have anything to compare it to since I didn't have GPS on the Touch the last time I was in DC.

But for the most part it works well enough for me, especially for free

I have not experienced any problems with my gps either. I get very fast locks, and it appears to be very accurate. I use Sprint Nav frequently and so far I like it better than any other program out there that I have tried.
