My Live Search beeps on my Touch Pro just as it did on my Touch when you're approaching a turn. I used it when I was in DC (where the blocks are a lot smaller than they are here in Miami) and that's when I noticed the GPS was a little behind. If I missed a turn LiveSearch would reroute to the next turn, which I'd already be passing by the time it kicked in. I don't have anything to compare it to since I didn't have GPS on the Touch the last time I was in DC.
But for the most part it works well enough for me, especially for free
