I tested MMS and it sent and recieved. So give it a shot. and I will work more on this in the future. This is just a starter. to get everyone going.

SWEET! Thanks conflipper. I'm downloading right now. I tried juggalo's rom but couldn't get mms working even after i installed lennysh's arcsoft cab. But everything else worked fine.

Ok...I just tested out a full day of using your rom conflipper and everything is working good. I'm currently having a problem with my phone though. I made a rom from ppckithen's 20931 kitchen a couple days ago and tried to use it but had a horrible problem with the phone responding super slow when ever i was in the messaging app. I would try to write an email or send a text and whenever i would type out a word, it would take a few seconds for it to show up. When ever i had the messaging app open everything on the phone would work super slow, as if the processor was only working at 50 mhz or something. I've installed a couple other roms since then and they all were showing the same behavior. Even on your rom conflipper. I installed the latest telus radio just before this problem started happening, so maybe that's to blame some how. I have even disabled the word completion to see if that was causing it but it had no affect. I've done hard resets after each flash also. Since the alltel radio is not available, I guess I'll put the sprint radio on my phone to see if that fixes this problem. The battery life is REALLY...REALLY bad with this telus radio too. So, do you have any suggestions conflipper? Or anyone else?

Re: Alltel users what rom are you running?

I would go to the sprint radio. that is also the same radio of the alltel diamond. so it should be good. telus radio on the diamond, i am having mixed results. I tend to have better reception, picking up EV easier anyways. Battery life, it is hard for me to tell because they are almost always connected to computer or to charger. So its hard for me to tell about battery life. Try going to a new radio though. if you have the same issue. I would say take your phone back to alltel for replacment.

Thanks for the quick response conflipper. I installed the sprint radio and it was still showing the same super slowness with the messaging app open for the first few minutes, until i did something. I held down the stylus on a message to delete it, and it took about 6 or 7 seconds for the menu to pop up then it disappeared right away and then everything was working perfect and fast after that. STRANGE...I know. I opened a new message and was typing super fast and it kept up perfectly. Everything is back to normal. I soft reset and the same problem was there again for a while. So, I just hard reset and it's back to running like new, but better, since your rom is on there. Thanks so much Con. I will post back if I notice any bugs.

kk thanks let me know of anything i need to change, or anything i need to fix, I will continue to update the apps. I have a new quickgps, newer drivers to. So I can maybe include those in there. I will have to see how everything is going.

Also I have the files patched now, so you can use the pagepool changer to change to pagepool in all future builds. so that will help everyone with that. I will wait though and see if i need to work on some stuff.

Hey Conflipper, to apply the notification fix, I just have to edit the reg entries so the "Flash light for..." box is not greyed out, correct? I know you put this fix in your diamond roms, but noticed it's not in this one and wanted to do it myself.

Nice...
I didn't know there was a cab for it. Thanks again Con, I'm definitely looking forward to your updated future builds. I don't think your Rom is getting much exposure buried in this thread. You plan on putting it out there properly soon? I've already told a couple friends with alltel touch pro's about your test build and they are definitely gonna flash this weekend. They are both previous owners of the alltel vogue so they have used and loved your roms in the past.

Yeah it is not getting much exposure but that will be fine, if everything test out good over the weekend, then maybe on monday I will post a main thread. I just want to make sure everything test out good before I go and do this.
