haha, that sounded fine. Just so you know though, now that you did one custom rom, you can never stop and go back to stock, and use it the same way.

I had to go back to work, so an update will be puched back, but I think i have everything so far fixed. I will work with it some more though. and updated a few other things. and it will be up later this week.

yeah i should have an official update and rom later this week for everyone to enjoy. busy with work now. my last night is thursday. so i will have to work on it then.

I'm using eRice's 1.04.3 ROM with a 48MB page pool. My Touch Pro is now blistering fast and I never, ever have to wait more than a second for something to load.

eRice's ROM's are compatible with Alltel's TP? I know Juggalo's works and Conflipper's is good. Currently Using Conflippers!

Conflipper, I have not yet performed any modifications to my phone. I have read till my eyes felt like they were bleeding about flashing and ROMs and I think I am going to wait on yours. Do you have a list of what programs will be in it. I do like some of the Alltel crap that was loaded. Like youtube, worldcard, clearview, mp3 trimmer, quick gps, remote desktop, i guess some of these are probably windows mobile 6 apps. Anyway will any of these be in it?
Also I have searched but can't find the answer. How can I save my stock ROM in case I need to put it back to stock? The post on "stock ROMs" doesn't mention Alltel.

The Alltel stock rom is right here i used it to go from juggalo > alltel stock > conflippers. it works!

quicgps. remote desktop, worldcard, clearview, mp3trimmer will all be inthere. stuff i will take out is like alltel stuff, access shop, navigation and other stuff. it will also have stuff like winrar, ppc backup, newer album, newer camrea, just a lotof newer drivers all around. and then the basics. youtube will also be in there and updated to the newest one has well.

havent tried this on my pro yet but after reading looks ill wait for yours! looking forward to it! Now if I could only get that pesky gps thing working........

I have mine working with Google maps, Garmin Mobile XT, Live search, and Geoscout. What are you trying to get it to work with with? If its iGuidance, your going to have lag issues. Really looooong lags. A mile past the turn long.
Go into settings , system, external GPS and choose a com port on the first screen. That will be the com port you will need to set your programs to use for GPS communications.
I also had to go into settings, personal, phone, services, and in the location settings area; turn that on as well. Worked great ever since.
