Re: Protecting Your HTC Touch Pro

I am using the Monaco aluminum case for the touch pro
http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trk...All-Categories

I really like the aluminum cases. I had one with my Apache and my mogul. I dropped my Apache several times hard enough that it dented the case but the phone wasn't damaged. It is too bad that they don't make one that will work with an extended battery.

Re: Protecting Your HTC Touch Pro

Seidio case long term use update:

It's been about half a year now and my Seidio case's tabs on the lower half have already snapped. I admit that this is probably due to my frequent removals to get the trapped dirt particles out after I discovered that the use of the Seidio case PROMOTES scratching of the chrome when particles get stuck between the case and your phone (and you WILL get these particles from just placing the phone in your pocket and normal use). So if any of you are contemplating cases for your TPs, I suggest that you look into first doing the clear stick on case (e.g. invisibleSHIELD or similar) and THEN use the hard shell case. Otherwise, your TP will end up like my TP.

I was a lazy one and got a full invisashield job on mine, no problems or marks after 6 months!

Re: Protecting Your HTC Touch Pro

I'm using an OEM Diamond holster. It fits the TP perfectly, I wouldn't want to carry my TP in my pocket.

Re: Protecting Your HTC Touch Pro

Nice thread and a lot of cool pictures/cases. I'm kind of want one as well, but I'm one of those people who don't like cases on the phone unless it is a must (like covering up an iPhone w/o insurance). Until now, I'm debating whether or not I should get a rubberized hard case for my TP

Re: Protecting Your HTC Touch Pro

I have been to three Bestbuys in my region, and all have the touch pro black cases (plastic and rubber) on clearance...I bought a black plastic case for $11. Fits perfectly and all the buttons opening are aligned just right. Check your local Bestbuy if you want a black case. Here is the picture identical to that case: http://www.daydeal.com/files/images1...tector_blk.JPG I forgot to mention that is only for Sprint's Touch Pro. If you want to buy it online: http://www.daydeal.com/product.php?productid=26264

Smile Re: Protecting Your HTC Touch Pro

I use a strap on my TP to prevent from dropping it in the first place. I use a screen guard and I wax my phone to prevent it from showing oil and fingerprints. Use a camera strap, it slides through the bottom of the battery cover and onto the phone below the battery. My strap makes it easier to take pics and vdo's too.

Re: Protecting Your HTC Touch Pro

i too got the full body invisible shield. absolutely love it. i'm not a fan of cases as i usually keep the phone in my pocket and i try to reduce bulk.

but i really like the invisible shield. it took a few scrapes with a steak knife to scratch it and they offer a lifetime replacement warranty on it so all i need to do is bring it back to the kiosk at the mall and have them put another one on. makes the phone easier to grip and the couple of times i have dropped it it fell without a mark. 2 thumbs up for this one.
