Well, the cover is a rubber base so the texture is always there - you just don't see it as strongly until you darken it up.

Pictures were courtesy of my Canon Digital Rebel, the original one. Still my favorite camera.

where are you, i am in charlotte and every store i have gone in that had them have just given them to me. i will be glad to send it if i can just send by usps. i have 3 for my diamond and 3 for my pro. so i'm good. pm if you can't get one. no charge

This is a great tip, but I just want to warn people from my experience. Be careful not to leave your cover in the pan too long or have the water too hot! It will warp the plastic out of shape. I slightly damage mine, but was able to squeeze it back into shape so it'll snap back on to the phone. Had it been any more warped I'd be out of luck. Happily it looks like an OEM quality dye job with the cover and I'm no longer forced to look at the nasty fading sliver cover that was starting to look tacky.

Thank you very much, the wifey is still giddy about it. I am just finally glad that there is something different about our phones now. I can grab and go now and not worry who's phone I am walking off with anymore.

nice...but with sprint altering it voids the warranty...*whomp whomp*.. just make sure you toss it to the side before you take it in if you should need to.

or just tell them you bought it after market. and if you can keep it if they replace the phone.

2 things wrong about this.
Sprint doesn't honor the manufacture warranty, they ask that any warranty claims go to HTC unless you have the ESRP program.
Second, phones serviced by Sprint are serviced without the back cover, when they are sent into the depot for refurbishing they are sent without the back or battery.
