I just did mine, looks great, except, it looks like smudges in a few areas, not sure if it was scratches from before or what not, there should have been none though, since the phone is only a few days old, who knows, I can post pics if needed, any way to fix this? Hell I will just take a picture now lol....

You need to buff out the paint. Just find a pair of jeans and rub it for a while in all directions until the paint is even.

Screwed my cover up, must have heated the water too hot.. The black cover is all warped now and the rubber coating is coming off like blisters... Anyone want to sell me a new cover?

Oops I'd say it got too hot. I had mine on low heat for 20 minutes. Worked perfectly.

Low heat is the key. It doesnt warp the cover plus it slows down the dyeing so u can see the color change to what u want.

Has anyone tried mixing colors per chance? I get my phone today and was thing of doing a dark blue or dark red.

Also, has anyone tried to throw some clear gloss paint afterwards, that would be pretty cool if that worked as well.
