I don't think white dye exists. You might try the RIT color remover then painting it white with some sort of spray paint or something. Of course you'd have to mask off the camera lens.

Re: A $1.48 goes a long way... Black Battery Cover!

I've tried two stores, including a corporate / repair center one, and they refuse to give out spare battery covers.

Anyone have a spare black battery cover to spare? I'd wait for the Alltel one if it wasn't for the fact they plastered their Alltel logo on the camera section where "HTC" normally is.

Re: A $1.48 goes a long way... Black Battery Cover!

Are you all serious you didn't dye your stylus when you did your batt cover. Well, stylus dyed with same RIT dye as batt cover. It did demagnetize the stylus a little though. But I just got a normal refrigerator magnet and rubbed it to the stylus a few times and it was just like new. Even stronger I think.

Wal-Mart also sells a RIT dye in liquid form. It costs a little more, but you don't have to use the whole thing for one session. You can just add as much as you need to a smaller pot of water, then you have leftover dye in case you want to dye something else.

Some stores don't keep accessories. From what I understand, the stores which can do minor repairs are more likely to be the ones which keep accessories.

Isn't the Sprint battery cover rubberized enough? I felt the GSM back cover, and it's a different material than the CDMA cover. It has less grip, but if feels much more comfortable.

Yea, post some pictures please! Is it a rich red color? Or is it darker like burgundy?
