Re: Anyone's Touch Pro have lots of "Wiggle" in the closed position?
Mine wiggles bad, very frustrated with this. Is it fact that the new ones are tighter/better built? My build date is 10/29.
Might even exchange for the Diamond. I have about 5 days to decide.. |

That's what I am doing. The Pro just had too many issues for me. From what I have heard, even newer builds have issues, but that's not to say that they aren't less-likely. Perhaps HTC caught their horrible mistakes, and are trying to push out some handsets with at least some quality to them. |

I think they are updating the phone software and hardware wise, which is why they are unavailable ATM. We'll know by the end of January most likely

Re: Anyone's Touch Pro have lots of "Wiggle" in the closed position?
My TP is not wiggling and I've had it for just under a month. I'm planning on buying the Best buy protection plan, and am going to keep the TP and if I have issues down the road, bring them up through the protection plan. I've seen the posts about problems people are having with the best buy protection plan, but figure I'll take my chances. If there is a hardware update, I would hope to get the newest hardware down the road if I have an issue.
Is this flawed logic?? |

I had a little wiggle with my screen, but I solved it with some black tape on the underside of the screen opposite to the keyboard. There's no gap between the keyboard and screen now, but I can still make the screen go back and forth if I press it hard enough. I've handled two touch pro's so far, and both had this wiggle, but the other didn't have a gap between the kb and screen.

It would be a mess if Sprint doesn't make an effort to get the defective phones back.
AT THE LEAST they should replace anyone's TP with the new version if they bring the phone in for any reason. Instead of ordering a massive recall, just do it on a need-to-replace basis. And then they should stop circulating the defective devices. |

What about the other issues? I honestly care much more about my phone overheating and not charging, much more than I care about the build quality, or chipped chrome, or the camera quality, etc... The jury is still out on whether or not the newest builds are having those same issues--but many still are, from what I have read... |

Yeah, for awhile I've been obsessing over how to get the very newest build, but I'm starting to think it doesn't matter. Exchange it enough times and hopefully you'll get one you're satisfied with or at least can live with. Then, be sure you don't drop it.
![]() I'm on the fence on returning my current 11/6. It's got a gap between the two halves that none of my other ones have, but at least it doesn't randomly die on me. |
