Re: Super laggy new Touch Pro - defective?
Quality seems the same as my previous one. Neither had any real gap between the screen and the keyboard unless I use the hard plastic cover/shell. The clips raise the screen off the keyboard on the bottom end of the phone.

Oh, and the battery life has a mind of it's own. At least once or twice a week, the battery will just decide to go on "super drain" where I wouldn't even make it through the day on standby with little or no talk time. But to answer your question of did you get a bad Touch Pro OR is it normal...... I don't think "OR" is correct. You got a bad Touch Pro AND it is normal. I have learned to live with the phone's defects. |

Re: Super laggy new Touch Pro - defective?
Just a quick question. Might be a stupid question. For the Sprint customers, how long did you have your phone before you went in and had it replaced? I bought mine on 11/2608, could I still take it back to have it replaced with out a problem?
I'm having this super laggy typing issue also and have wondered whether or not it was a defective phone. Thanks for any info. -housinit |

Re: Super laggy new Touch Pro - defective?
From Sprint you have 30 days from time of purchase to trade it in. There is also a product warranty which may help (usually 1 year). And Sprint also offers insurance for defects, breakage, etc.
So, if you purchased on 11/26 then you are outside of the 30 window. You may be able to get a replacement through a warranty claim or Sprint may replace it for you through insurance, etc. late, Coz
