I don't think it's a hardware issue and i don't think it's any specific software but I do believe it's software related. I think it is the same issue that we get when the phone just suddenly decides one day it wants to get hot and kill the battery for no reason. Something got "stuck" in the on position. But in the case of a new phone, I think it's something that only happens when you first set up service because I never have the specific laggy problem after that no matter what I flash too.
i know this is off topic, but hows your build quality? Is there a gap between screen and keyboard?
