Superevillamma, I have no beef with you, but your posts are seriously starting to piss me off. Everything you say just seems so negative.

I understand the point you are trying to make, but our phones are NOT cars. They cost 1/250 of a car. Plus, they are handled differently as far as sales, so stop bashing people for asking questions.

Saying above is like crashing your car and then saying well it falls within a certain vin range, just take it back, they will exchange it. Any device, any cell phone, is gonna have some form of damage if its dropped, and sprint is not the one who dropped it. If it really bothers you, claim it and pa $50 deductible.

Well i had just dropped my phone today in the case that it came with.. i guess i dropped it in an angle that it got two small chips on it. The bad thing is now that my Touch pro has two chips which feels not so brand new anymore, the good thing is that since my phone has battle scars i no longer have to feel like it has to be perfect condition all the time. The Pro was nice when it was in flawless condition, but hey not all brand new things stay brand new, Thank goodness for insurance

I dropped my phone and thought that I could get another one because my chrome damage..... and my ESN falls in the range, but after going to 5 store in they all said the same thing.... "They had not heard of any such thing!"...... I even called HTC and they said that if it wasn't posted on there site that it basically isn't true.

I had to use my insurance and pay $50...... my replacement will be here this week....

Just went to my local sprint store today. They didn't even check my esn. Swapped it out for a new one, no questions asked. The tech said all the stores should have gotten the memo. No problems with my new one, much better quality.

For those that bought from best buy, are you swapping your phone out from there or at the sprint store? Does it have to be a factory authorized repair center, or will any authorized sprint store do the trick?

Yes, some have but they claim it scratches the chrome
