There is a nasty glare usually though. But as stated, this is about protection and sometimes you have to give up something to get something. In this case, you get the best protection but have to deal with glare.

i think each screen protector is going to have some type of trade off.. its just going to have to depend on what the user finds more important to them

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

From my own usage I have had zero issue wit hthe InviseibleShield. I have had it on the Vogue for a long time.
Application was a breeze, not sure where everyone is getting bubbles and dust, but mine is perfect. It is simple to align , and custom fit for the device. I only use the screen protector since the back of the Vogue is not a big concern for me.

The galre does not seem any worse than it was before. And In full sunlight I cna turn the backlight up and see everythign on the phone without issue.

The tacky feeling was different at first. But now I can not imagine not having it. Both my fingers and stylus drag perfectly fine and even playing games which require precision the screen reaction is still perfect.

I have a number of buddies who liked it enough to also order it for their phones.

Too each their own though, for me it has been a perfect fit.

Yeah I had ghost armor install a screen protector on my Touch Diamond (they have kiosks in malls in my area). The material is durable, doesn't scratch, and doesn't have much of an orange peel effect. It doesn't lessen the screen sensitivity, and for the most part, is completely clear. If you have used invisible shield before, it's practically the same thing.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

in my opinion Boxwave makes the best screen protectors, I have used these on three different smartphones now. I have tried the Zagg and bodyguardz screen covers and didn't like the fact that they bothe have a grippy surface, the Boxwave screen covers feel like you don't even have a cover on they are ultra smooth and as slick as the screen itself.http://www.boxwave.com/products/clea...h-pro_3326.htm

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

The zagg/invisibleShields have that tacky feel because they are a bit thicker then your average screen protector and almost have a rubbery feel instead of plastic. My personal opinion is that the thicker screen protector makes me feel a lot more safe that scratches and gouges are less likely to happen. Also, I don't or have not had any problems previously sliding my finger on an invisibleshield screen protector. You have to be light with a stylus because it will dig into the screen protector BUT it "heals" instantly and leaves no lasting mark.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

I have had the InvisibleShield on 2 Instincts and a Mogul. I swear by them since I like keeping my phone naked and in my pocket. I demonstrated the protective screen to some of the peeps I work with, and THEY almost had an heart attack when I dragged a key across the screen. I'm still waiting for ZAGG to make the CDMA TP version available. Also, thinking about a hard case from Seidio...but afraid the sliding action would be hindered

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

I live a few miles from the InvisibleShield (Zagg) corporate office and had them fully skin my Touch Pro (Sprint, of course) this afternoon. I, like many here, have used them for several other devices I've had and couldn't be happier with the results. It does add a nice tacky feel to the screen, but I'd say it's a benefit rather than a hindrance. It looks like it's available on their website now too.

I have invisibleshield on my 80gb ipod classic and it has that rubbery feeling when you touch the lcd but it has good protection about to order mine.
