Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

i'll place my vote for invisibleshield. i've had it on my mogul and other phones. it is the best screen protecter out there. i don't know how it works, but even if you can't get the air bubbles out, wait a week and like magic, they disappear. it's true. no other screen protecter i've used did this. it also gives the screen a SLITE tacky feel that i like. i didnt notice a reduction in sensitivity for the screen. the one down side though is lots of sun glare. it's tough using the phone outside on a sunny day.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

Anyone have experience with this product? Supposedly it doesn't have the orange peel effect, which I don't really know what it imeans but perhaps it's a good thing??

I agree on this entire statement. This has been my experience when I had my HTC Touch exactly. As soon as Zagg gets the CDMA Touch Pro ones out, I will be picking it up again. Highly recommend them.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

Talked to Zagg on the phone today and they have a layout that is being made right now for the CDMA version. The lady on the phone told me to look for it the first week in December to be out on the website.

InvisibleShield does not have an anti-glare version as far as I know. You won't be able to see sh1t except in low light conditions.

i think you should speak from actual experience instead of assumption.. just because it doesnt have anti-glare means you wont be able to see it in bright conditions.. my gf has one on her instinct, and ive not noticed any glare bad enough to keep anyone from getting the product. plus we are talking about the best for protecting your phone from damage.. not glares..

Only if there were professionals that can gaurantee to put these on without the bubbles or dirt trapped underneath the film. The scratch resistance is awesome, but also it sorta makes the sensitivty on the touch screen not as responsive compared to a regular screen protector.
now a buddy acctually showed me this to get rid of my dust particles. go into your bathroom and turn the shower on really hot. the steam prevents the smaller particles from floating around. works well for me

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

Here's my opinion on the Invisible Shield: It looks great on the phone, and has a very good fit. It looks very good on the screen. I like how it also covers the d-pad.

However, I don't like the tacky feel on the screen itself. It doesn't work as well for me in swiping my finger across the screen. I ended up taking off the section the screen only, but left the portion on the d-pad and on the rest of the device. Also, it was a bit scary taking it off of the screen, as I had to pull HARD to peel it off. I won't install another invisible shield on the screen, as I worry about damaging the screen when I take it off.

After removing the screen section only, I installed a different screen protector I bought from Screen Patronus ( I bought a pack of 5 off of ebay for about $12). The Screen Patronus was a definite improvement from the invisible shield. It's slicker when I swipe across the screen, and looks slightly better on the device when the screen is off (no faint orange peel texture).

I therefore have a Screen Patronus protector over the screen, and the invisible shield over the d-pad and the rest of the device. I'm very happy with the combination.
