Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

I purchased a best skin ever on Friday Feb 6 at ~ 10 am (MST). Shipped same day and arrived in my PO Box Feb 9. I'd say that's pretty darn good service - even the USPS did it's part. I haven't put it on yet, but will tonight.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

Having now tried both InvisibleShield and BodyGuardz, I have to say I prefer BodyGuardz. Simply way more clearer, no "orange peel" look. The install went better, because BodyGuardz comes with a written position for each piece, so you don't have to guess where it goes. With InvisibleShield, I had to try and figure out where each piece went, which took up time and made me sometimes unsure if I picked the right position for a piece. I also think BodyGuardz does not negatively impact touch sensitivity as much.

Agree. It definitely took a few minutes to figure out where some of the smaller pieces went.

BestSkinsEver. Got 4 full body sets for the price of one full body IS. The cost of sending back a skin to Zagg for the warranty is almost as much as a full body BSE.

I took a quick look at BSE's web site, but did not see any mention of them backing their product with a lifetime replacement guarantee.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

They don't have a lifetime warranty, but you don't really need one. A full body skin costs less than $8.00.

With Zagg / IS, I had to pay almost $5.00 + the cost to ship the skin back to get a replacement.

To me, when the maker does not stand by their product with a lifetime guarantee, it does not give me confidence their product will withstand the test of time.

I don't want to have to do repeated installs because a body skin does not hold up.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

Used a BSE on my Treo 700P and an Invisible Shield on my Treo 700WX. Both are still in good shape after a couple of years of use. I do baby my devices though.

I've had to spray additional pieces of both after corners began to lift up. AFAIK, ISs and BSEs are made of the same material.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

Probably not the same material given Zagg is in the patent process for IS.
