Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

I'm still happy with BodyGuardz after more than a month.

When I first installed it, I didn't include the chrome cover pieces. Seemed like overkill. But yesterday, I noticed that the chrome on the lower righthand corner, where I hold my TP all the time, was degrading and turning black along the edge. Actally, my wife (a consummate Virgo) noticed and told me. Now I've got the entire TP covered with BodyGuardz. Installation was, again, easy and forgiving. One piece had to be peeled off and repositioned this morning and, after wetting it down, it still works and sticks.

New fog and bubbles disappear within 24 hours. On older pieces, color continues to be clear, touch continues to be responsive, and nothing has peeled loose.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

I bought two invisible shields for two pros last week and just got them in.

I HATE it....absolutley hate it. Its hard and confusing to put on, and every little tiny particle of dust thats floating around in your house gets stuck to it. You need to be in a laboratory cleanroom just to install it without crap underneath it. And this thing shows EVERYTHING.....I had a much easier time putting the stock screen protector on then with this thing. You have to spray it to get it to go on right, unless your hands are completly steady...and if you let that spray dry at all and then decide to take it off and try again...its a pain to do so because it sticks so hard that you practically need to tear it just to get it off. This thing made me SOOOOOO pissed tonight...I cant even explain.

They don't even tell you where each thin crappy piece goes...just leave it up to you or refer you to their Youtube videos.....

Last but not least the perforations to tear the individual pieces off gets stuck and its hard to remove some of them.

It goes without saying that I will be invoking their 30 day money back guarantee and shipping this load of crap right back to them for a refund.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

I just came here to say that I put an InvisibleShield screen only protector on my TP. While it's nice to have a screen protector, this thing is crap. I installed it in optimal conditions, used a lot of the spray, squeegee'd the hell out of it, used a microfiber cloth on it, perfect install as you can do.

But I hate it. It has worse orangepeel than a Maaco paint job, it makes the whole concept of touchscreen useless because it is so rubbery, those microbubbles they said that would go away after 24-48 hours? Not a chance. Oh did I mention it doesn't fit the screen perfectly and the exposed edges have collected dust?

In otherwords, I paid $22 at Best Buy (thank god for a Christmas giftcard) for a POS rubber screen protector.

Don't waste your time with the InvisibleShield.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

BodyGuards comes in like 12 different strips that you have to put on PERFECTLY to be used correctly. Its no easy to put on and it will take you some time to do it but I will say it does do an excellent job of protecting

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

Because of the slider, removable battery case and other features of the Touch Pro's exterior design, there has to be a good number of pieces.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

My friend and I just got Bodyguardz, and it is awesome. It does take some time to apply, but the protection is great and it comes with two sets in case you ruin the first set. We've had it for a month now an dam glad we got it.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

have already ordered the zagg invisible shield for my TP, ipod vid and nano. i have the Touch Pro GSM unlocked version with the matte 'rubbery' cover. i've seen people using it on the Fuze but haven't found any yet on TP with the rubbery back. i know the Fuze is plastic cover with shiny surface like the Diamond.
all i want to know is if i use the shield on the back to the rubbery TP and decide to remove it later on, will it mess up the rubbery feel? as i think that the back cover is coated for that matte feel.

and the protector for the screen, have heard complaints about it being to sticky, is it possible that when used for a longer time, the rubbery/sticky feel will be gone?
have tried to look if the fuze cover are on sale anywhere but no luck.
any input will greatly help, thanks

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

This may have been said already, but BODYGUARDZ wins because of LIFETIME REPLACEMENTS FOR FREE. It comes with 2, so if you have to do an equipment replacement you are OK, if have to do another just go online and pay for shipping ($5) as many times as you want.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

I have owned my diamond for almost a week. I tried the InvisibileShield installation and holy crap it sucks. I can not explain how hard it is... I used to own a vinyl shop, I even have my own squeegee.

Then I tried a bodyguard (like 30 minutes ago) and it slapped on with no problems. I see one or two minor bubbles that will work their self out once it procures.
