Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

I had IS on my ipod nano, and from posts here it looks like you guys felt that the IS or bodyguardz film actually reduced the sensitivity and clarity of the screen so that you would have to remove the screen cover? My question is if the screen cover an individual piece that can be replaced by OEM or boxwave screen protector or just one piece. From the demo video on both sites (for iphone), it looks like one piece for front covering everything.

IS is 2 pieces on the front.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

I think reggieP mentioned a case by Sprint for the TP and I have to agree that it works DAMN good...I'm bout to pull the trigger on the BG and hopefully they will be able to work together as I will have the BG covering the front screen with the sprint case covering the front of the phone as well *it's just an outer covering, no film over the screen and four buttons...anyone with this setup already feel free to give me more info on it...

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

quick question though, does the bodyguardz cover the four buttons as well? I was looking at the webpage to order and noticed that the four buttons aren't covered...I was thinking about ordering the "screen only" model, but I figured they would through in the rest to match the front of th phone...lol

BodyGuardz already responded to my email and the answer is no.

I'd have to think Verizon sold a ton more of TPs than Sprint, so if they did a Sprint, they'll do a Verizon.

Any other ideas if I wanted to get something now?

Thank you for contacting us! We currently do not make BodyGuardz for the Verizon Touch Pro. I will let our Research and Development group know of your interest. The more interest in a device that we receive, the sooner we try to locate that device to create BodyGuardz for. I will put this ticket "On Hold" and we will email when we have BodyGuardz available for the Verizon Touch Pro.

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

For starters, sorry about the emoticoms. I've been drinking.

I got my Best Skins Ever today. I ordered on the evening of 11/29, so it took 4 whopping days, including the weekend.
I spent a total of $9.99 w/ shipping (it would've been cheaper had I bought 2)

rFletch12's findings about the BSE a few pages back are pretty dead on.

Yes, the BSE is a sticky, but that's a selling point to me - I don't want to drop this $400 #%*@ extension .
That said, I put another skin on the screen that I had already ordered before I discovered this post hoping it would be slicker. IMO, pretty pointless since it feels about the same and doesn't fit as well. I'll prolly put the BSE screen protector on later.

My advice:
-Go with the one you feel good about, rFletch12 and myself got the cheap one and their fine, so I'm sure the higher priced one's are fine too.

-When applying, BE PATIENT, BE PREPARED, and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS (I printed them out off the website and READ them before heading to the hot, steamy bathroom), make sure you have adequite (< how do u spell that?) lighting.
** I repeat, if you got bad eyes, you might have someone else help you out.**
-If the "wing tips" won't stay down, step away for 5 or 10 minutes, then come back and push them down. the stuff needs to activate.
-The little chrome piece below the button pad was prolly the biggest pain the ***, but otherwise it wasn't too bad.
-I used alcohol wipes a lot, so get some of them, and yes you'll need to whip up a little water and dish soap concotion (<dam, there's another one)
-Air bubbles weren't an issue, I kept things pretty slippery and wet.
-Anyway, here's some pictures. They may not be doing any justice because, other than the 3rd party screen protector, this sucker looks good (the photos were taken an hour after install). Don't forget, the screen protector in the photos is a different brand.

I made links since picts are fairly big and I'm not sure how to make thumbnails:

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

Oh yea, the condensation under the camera lense cover was an easy fix. I took off the battery cover and wiped off the condensation. lol

BTW, the instructions say to start up front. I started in the back. I figured I would get better as things went on, and the front is most important. Nuf said

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz

I use Bodyguardz for my Touch but the screen protector only. I can say that I am very happy with it. It is extremely clear and I haven't lost any significant response to the touch screen. I'm considering going ahead and trying the full body cover but I'm not sure I see the need.
