Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz
Got my BSE skin on friday. It took a little over an hour to install. Had to prep a spray bottle with a small amount of dish soap and water, per the instructions on the website. I thought it was really easy to put all the pieces on. You get 2 sheets, 1 for the front pieces and 1 for the back pieces. They were all pre-cut and pretty easy to pull off the sheets. I didn't have any issue understanding which piece went where. The batter cover has slits cut out making the "wings" everyone is referring to. But after 4 days those things are really stuck on the batter cover so no issue "yet" with them pulling off.
At first i wasn't to sure about the tacky/rubbery feel. But after it was on for 2 days that rubbery feel went away and it feels nice and slick. Haven't noticed any difference in touch flo. The first day when it had the rubbery feel i had to push harder when flicking. I almost pulled the screen piece off because i didn't like it. But i got distracted the next day so i didn't use the phone hardly at all. I'm glad i waited because now i'm going to leave it on. It's very clear. I showed some folks at work and it took them a while to see that i had it on there. Cons: 1. the thin pieces that go around the chrome should be a little bit longer, there's a little bit of a gap between each piece and they collect dirt easily. 2. Hard to clean each piece of the phone your applying pieces to with out moving the other pieces you've already installed. Doable, just takes time/patience. 3. Hard to get air bubbles out around dpad ring. Pros: 1. Near full body coverage. 2. Only $8 bucks. 3. Very clear and slick after 48 hours. I bought 2 sets, so now on to putting the other one on my wife's TP. |

Re: InvisibleShield vs Bodyguardz
I should report for everyone an excellent customer service experience with Bodyguardz today.
Taking advantage of the 50% off sale, I ordered a screen shield for my TP. Only problem was that I ordered the wrong one. (Make sure to order the shield for the SPRINT Touch Pro if that's the one you need.) After realizing my mistake, I called the Bodyguardz office and left a message explaining my mistake and asking for a callback, and also wrote to them via email. Literally a moment after I sent the email, I received an email indicating that my order had shipped. No fault of theirs, for sure. Indeed, the speedy shipping suggested good service in the first place. Needless to say, I figured I was out of luck, and that I'd have to send the wrong one back, and then first get the right one mailed out to me sometime next week at the earliest. But a few moments after that, they phoned me back, told me that after receiving my message, they picked my package off the shipping line, and that the contents were being changed to the shield I needed. Problem solved by way of VERY SOLID customer service. So my thanks to Dain, Meghan, and the folks at Bodyguarz. If the product is as good as the service I received today, I know I will be very pleased. Cheers, Ito |
