This has been driving me crazy too. I went from a Centro that could stream Orb well over the CDMA network (non-EVDO and no wifi) to a sloppy/choppy stream with my Touch Pro over wifi.

I FINALLY found a solution after rolling through various streaming programs. The problem was Opera. When I launch Orb from Internet Explorer and use TCPMP it is finally streaming perfectly.

Hope that helps you out.
What setting in TCPMP are you using? Cause I've tried various times to get TCPMP to work with Orb and I had failed misserably

I like kinoma, but the only gripe I have with the Orb feature in that app, is that it doesn't give me a direct access to my recorded shows...just "videos". Only the website gives me the option to view all my recorded TV shows, and it's alright with me. I think the low framerate is something I've gotten used to anyways.

The screen resolution is supported, just not TV. I'm in the same boat, I am just waiting for TV support to push the button.

Re: Touch Pro & Orb.

I've been using the Kimona Play software for a couple of weeks and love it. It's great being able to stream podcasts, rather than downloading them. I am anxious to try Orb as soon as they offer Mac support.

I totally disagree. I wish more companies were like that. If HTC and Qualcomm were more like that then maybe the performance issues (graphics drivers in particular) of the Touch Pro and Diamond would get fixed. I will still suggest www.mytinytv.com as an alternative but honestly I will use Orb and Kinoma now just because I would love to support a company that actually listens to users.

Kinoma FreePlay support is nearly the same as Kinoma Play's. Kinoma Play supports more advanced codecs that can provide the same quality at lower bitrates, so it can perform better under challenging network conditions.

Oh my, what a great program. I just downloaded it. I'm in love.

It's so good that even though the free version works very well for my needs I am considering purchasing it just to support your work.

Mine rotates just by tilting it. I am using the sprint stock rom. Maybe it has something to do with the version of Kinoma.

Re: Touch Pro & Orb.

Mine rotates fine too. I don't know if maybe we have a newer version than the one that was out when this topic was opened.
