unfortunately i was telesales, and after losing the device, yes I know my fault, I can't just ask sprint to send me a new one.. however I now have two diamonds sitting here.

young i would like to see that u actually got a touch pro can you post your packing slip? cuz id be pissed if u actually got a pro, and plus id be able to use it as leverage to get sprint to just replace my pro

i find it very strange that you magically got a prop your first try and even after other peoples claims, stars and moons and cell phone gods must have been on your side

no i wasn't calling you ignorant btw, just that after the steps that had been taken were outlined already in this thread your response was uninformed. several people have definitely verified (superevilllama is my roomie so i know his frustration and i know the steps he took) that asurion should send a touch pro, and not a diamond. after the second attempt and a furious call from the first mishap, they STILL sent a diamond. I'm assuming you got lucky and got one of their replacements before everything went on back order, but it has nothing to do with verifying which phone they send you while placing the order, because it was verified and they STILL screwed up. also, asurion does indeed know which phone you have on your account and which to send you, so verifying that they send you the correct device should be unnecessary. (I've been thru the claims process before so I know this)
There's also the issue of them lying to caller's who have placed orders before and are waiting for them to be delivered. People are calling them and they say that the phone "should be delivered tomorrow" and when it's not delivered and you call them back and ask where it is, they say "I SHOW it should be there on monday" and you ask for a tracking number and they don't have one. Then you press a little harder for more info and they finally tell you that it's actually on backorder.

This is all true info and experiences, btw

on a lighter note, asurion reordered the pro for me today. (round 3) They said to begin sending the incorrect devices back using the supplied envelope. I explained these devices are new, they said just send back the phone. So, I have extra accessories. weeee

i hope this is right im callin now, called go the same its backordered speech

what about the batteries can you keep it, are the batteries the smae in the diamond and the pro

did they say it was in stock, when u called or what im thinkn this has something to do with timing now there is obviously a huge demand for a replacement so im guess they are going out to newer claims first or something i asked bout a wating line when i just called and she stated there isnt one and it goes just as system processes them

I called for a replacement on Saturday, and they told me it would be 7-10 business days since its on backorder, but i got my tracking number today, and it should arive on weds.
