Re: Defective Touch Pro
hmmm did you take the plastic protective cover off? don't laugh, a lot of people didn't and posted that their phone was borked.

Re: Defective Touch Pro
I found the earpiece volume low when I got the phone, but I installed AudioPara (look in the tweeks sticky) and now it's perfect.
Don't be so quick to write off a phone just because of a (fixable) minor issue. There's a lot of information here. Read a lot, learn a lot.

Re: Defective Touch Pro
Yes, the power has to be off.
Press Volume Down and the power button to turn the phone off, THEN attempt the hard reset. |

Just dug the thing out again and nothing I do will hard reset the device. I start with the phone off, hold pwr,vol dwn, and enter and still no go. Do all the above with a reset, no go. |

Re: Defective Touch Pro
Damned thing finally hard reset after about 100 attempts. I think the sequence of keys was important. I believe I did vol dwn, ent, then pwr.
Now we'll see if it fixes the volume issue. |
