Goto "Settings/Connections/USB to PC" and check "Ask about connection type when I connect"
And the keyboard backlight is hard-wire to a 7 sec. cut-off, to my knowledge no one has a solution to change it (yet).

Kingston 8gb Class 2 (or 4...I can't remember which). 8gb is plenty for me. I don't really use my phone as an MP3 player unless in a pinch. I have a dedicated Creative Zen Vision:M player that does very nicely for my serious music listening.

Do you remember when computer developers said no one would ever need more than 512kb of storage some 25 years ago?

Well a few months ago I said I would never need more than 500GB external storage. I was wrong.

2 months ago I said I would never need more than 8GB on my phone.
