Re: How big is your MicroSDHC card and speed?

Would it be wasteful to dish out (extra) money on a class 6 card if the TP was only capable of a class 2 or class 4 throughput? Any have any insight into the read/write speed of the TP's card slot?

A-Data and Transcend 8GB Class 6 cards. Both extremely fast...faster than my sandisk 4GB Class 4 card.

Re: How big is your MicroSDHC card and speed?

I don't know if it's been mentioned on this thread or not, but remember this:

TRY NOT TO REMOVE YOUR SD CARD when unnecessary. It scratches the contacts after a while and can reduce your speeds. Its better to use the USB mode to make your phone appear as a flash drive.

Re: How big is your MicroSDHC card and speed?

I just got a transcend 8 gb class 6 micro sdhc card for $17.49 shipped from newegg. I'm trying to load a 500 mb movie onto my card using active sync but it seems like it's not doing anything. It's showing the files moving over to the card but the progress bar is a grey color and is going back and forth from one bar to three then back to one over and over. I've already put about 2 gb of music on the same card without any issues and it took about 5 minutes to transfer.

Try the transfer in USB mode, instead of ActiveSync. It will transfer much quicker that way.

When I plug my vouge in it automatically starts up active sync. I went to Settings/Connections/USB to PCbut the only box I can check says "enable advanced networkfuntionality". I was able to get the video transfered by "syncing" it using WMP on my desktop. The audio quality is good and the video does not stutter or skip but is very pixelated. I'm using WMP for video playback and dont' see any setting as far as video quality go. What can I do?

Thanks in advance...I'm glad I found this site.

I think no2chem made a cab file for usb mode on devices like the mogul and vouge. Works similar to the touch pro's popup
