I did this yesterday just 'cause I was bored, and it certainly fixed the lag I had whenever I slid out the keyboard. Some times it seemed like the screen took 5 seconds to switch, but now its almost instant. Sadly though i still have the texting lag sometimes. I wish someone could fix that, sometimes I will have my whole message typed out before it catches up or even starts showing on the screen. Very annoying. But overall it improved the quickness of things.

No, it is like a new phone never turned on before. Everything resets to factory.

What would I need to re-enter? - no need to go into details - but if I read the manual and look at the current settings, should I be able to figure it out? (meaning I'd have the info I need - not whether or not my brain can handle it!).

Is there a fix for that? I keep accidentally dialing people when I scroll through my contacts. The scroll starts up and just keeps going - my contacts are flying by like a slot machine. I touch the screen to "stop" it (no clue why I think that will help - but it's almost a reflex) - then I must be hitting "call" somehow because it'll start dialing whoever I land on! (then I have to try to hit 'end call' before it connects enough to register a missed call on the other end )

So, what is the deal with the customizations on this phone??? I hard reset twice and still had to go through them. The ole "soft reset before customization run" trick didn't seem to work. Anyone have any additional info on this?

The op should paste this on the first page. this is a major benefit IMO.
