Manila weather doesn't work right with M3D and custom cities at the moment according to A_C. I'm hoping for a fix soon.

Unless you are looking to corrupt your card's filesystem.

Otherwise, you should copy the image files to your main memory, then let S2U2 use them from there.

Or, if you only have one image you want to be the background, use S2V (slide 2 view) to install a wallpaper for portrait and landscape mode

Why is this? I've been using s2u2 and using s2v for a good while already and have always used the pics straight out of my memory card and not once run into any trouble.

Because these devices put things like SD cards into "sleep mode," to save power.

You might get lucky, but this is the main reason that people with the original Touch has issues with corruption. It also happens if you turn the phone off while copying, or taking a picture, or whatever...

I had it happen 3 or 4 times, resulting in me backing up my SD card weekly.

I consider the SD card as more of a backup device. I keep everything on there, but I copy ringtones/backgrounds to my main memory, and I install all programs to the memory as well.

I don't feel like fighting with file corruption again...

I'm glad I saw this, I thought it was some settings I messed up. Because I had wallpaper to rotate every minute and thought it was too much for it to process waking in/out so it froze at times.

I have mind rotate every 5 minutes, and it goes through 100's of pictures... I just copy them to my documents and use them from there...

I got the weather to work properly, I ended up having to do a hard reset, after re-installing the s2u2 software, I set the weather to M3D and it not displays all the time.

I haven't re-installed gsen and will probably not. Will see if I get the same issue with the slide unlock being displayed in the center of the screen.
