Re: S2U2 vs Touch Pro

s2u2 is working well so far except for two issues

1. if the phone is off (and locked) i slide the keyboard open and s2u2 shows up, i slide it, then go about my business, about 4 seconds later S2U2 shows up in the top bar and it locks again!

2. when a phone call comes in i can't ignore with a text, sometimes can't answer the phone because s2u2 is locking me out -- what to do?

Re: S2U2 vs Touch Pro

start, setting, battery option, advance tab and change it to 30sec or 1 min or just uncheck it if you don't want the blacklight to turn off automatically...

Re: S2U2 vs Touch Pro

i think it might be a s2u2 setting -- if i answer the phone (from a wakeup) quickly i'm able to talk just fine, but if i hit "ignore" or "send a text message" it just mutes the ringer and i have to wait for the call to stop ringing. then i have to unlock the phone again.

Are there any settings that you guys had to change to get this to work?

I tried v1.18, 1.22, and now 1.33, and it still has the same problem.

Our Touch Pros can do directdraw and all that stuff, right?

Maybe someone that has their S2U2 working perfectly can post their settings?

Thanks!

I had the same issue so what i did was remove that version of s2u2 and replaced it with the VGA version made for our phone and I have had ZERO issues both Landscape and portrait work GREAT and always animated both the gif and jpeg!

Re: S2U2 vs Touch Pro

I had the same issue, it turns out the S2U2 backlight setting was different than the system's so the light wouldn't go off, the lock screen wouldn't be visible, but it would be locked (you can see the s2u2 name on the title bar). Here's how I fixed it:

Open s2u2 settings, make sure 'lock when device wakes up' is set to ON
Make sure 'lock when backlight turns off' is set to OFF.

I think this is because s2u2 will only activate if the device has turned off, instead of timing out. Hope that makes sense, bottom line that's the change I made and it works perfectly. I also have the GFX set to rawbuffer
