The magnet in the case is meant to put the device to sleep if its not already when you slip it into the pouch. its not meant to turn it on as u pull it out.

not only was I disappointed with the case that came with the pro, I was disappointed with what was out there. Ended up making my own padded leather case with magnetic closure... (I know it's not for everyone, but If you want the instructions/pattern, PM me and I'll send it to you)

I'm still using my Mogul case! I want the same exact one maybe in a better leather, but as far as cases go, it does it job! No need to spend more money and the magnet on it isn't doing absolutely anything to my phone as far as I can tell.

the cases for the Diamond and Touch Pro are crap. velcro? what they smoking?

this IS a luxury sedan of phones so i was hoping for at least something decent besides an uncomfortable hands free kit, cheap *** case, and no video cables.

at least we got a $5 1gb microsd card

i dont like the case either...i mean it should come with a case though because original price is 749.99 lol more then the other ones that came with a case. i just use my old mogul case...which is new cause it was a phone sent cuz my old one broke and i just never used it. oh but when i take the stylus out the phone..my phone doesnt come on...is mine glitched? it does it when i slide the keyboard however.

I've learned two things in this thread. The stylus is switch activated and the phone powers up when you slid the screen open.

I too learned something today, some people are never satisfied. I know that I didnt buy my phone for the case. I know a few people above have mentioned that they are using the Mogul case. Since the majority of the people that are buying this phone are upgrading they also likely have spare cases lying around. I too am using my mogul case, and it works great. I was thinking about complaining about the case, then I remembered that I bought a phone, not a phone case. This reminds me of the people complaining when the Mogul didn't have a dock when it was released last year.
