Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?
1st TP 10/13 No problems until a hard reset was done. The hard reset deleted the phone application.
2nd TP 10/19 Still testing. Got it last night. |

Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?
Mfg Date: 10/15/2008
Software Version: 1.03.651.3 Firmware Version: 1.03.15F Hardware Version: 0002 PRL Version: 60614 PRI Version: 1.47_003 When I pull up the dialer, I get a windows message that "A problem has occurred with cprog.exe" and asks me to send the error to MS. When I first got the phone, it didn't do this, but I have since done a hard reset and this started happening after that. Also, I cannot edit the weather database using the tool on XDA developers. The database file seemsto be "in ROM" and the tool cannot change the write protection onthe file. ***UPDATE: I used a modified version of the 1.1 Weather Database Editor and it worked fine, so this issue is resolved. Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?
build 10/20/08 (as posted previously)
Put my phone on the night stand last night with 90% charge. Went to sleep and when I woke up this morning the charge was at 30%. There was an error message that said error dialing number *777 or *7777 and when I tried to dismiss the error the thing froze and I had to reboot. But why is it calling this number in the middle of the night anyway? Alas, I have given up on the Touch Pro. This thing is so buggy that I just can't see keeping it for the price I paid. Going to switch to a different phone.... I would encourage anyone considering the Touch Pro to look elsewhere, don't reward HTC for this horrible quality control. |
