Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

10/20 - Seems fine to me.

To the people complaining of battery issues, what are you referring to? My battery life absolutely sucks, however it is very consistent with any other winmo devices I've owned. Are you guys 1st timers or comparing this to something else?

Other than that, everything seems ok...

My battery life on the TP is not comparable even to my Mogul I can get at least two days out of it. The TP not so much.

You can get two days out of your mogul my ***.. Seriously though, I guess if I never activated the screen on my mogul it might last that long. Have you set your TP down long enough to get some good control numbers for battery life? I know I haven't.

10/20/08, no problems yet but I've only had it for a few days so far. What are you guys talking about with raised buttons?

After the novelty of it started to die out I actually started using it for what I bought it for which is for business after a call lasting maybe 30-45 mins and a few emails and texts it should not be at half of when i started. Its why im keeping my Mogul around that and a properly working Skyfire.

Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

10-14-08

Defects:

-Touchscreen issues
-Charging issues(will not stay charged when charger is plugged into headphone adapter, I use the phone at work to listen to internet radio and I need it to stay turned on for at least 8 hours)
-When not plugged in battery only lasts 2 hours at most even when not being used and gets extremely hot when being used
-Phone sometimes runs apps really slow and even occasionally freezes and I have to remove the battery and restart
-Opera mobile frequently crashes and runs really slow even when no other apps are running

I have tried hard resets and still have all the problems listed. I have tried some of the reg edits out there with some success but still have most of the problems listed.

Has anyone had problems returning their phone to best buy and exchanging it for a new touch pro? How long do I have to exchange my phone? I got my pro 2 weeks ago and may not be able to exchange it til at least next weekend. Hopefully I can do it tomorrow.

Does anyone know of any type of recall from Sprint, HTC, or Best Buy or are they not even acknowledging that there are problems with some of the pros?

Re: What is your build date? Do you have a defect?

10/20/08:

Raised HOME button, makes a load "CLACK" noise when pressed
I get maybe 6 hours out of it, but hey it's new, and I've not put it down since getting it.

Straw that breaks the camel's back: The keyboard LED behind the 2&3 keys has gone out.

I'm going to see if Sprint will replace it.
