As others have pointed out, the bottom pad is slightly raised to make room for a screen protector to sit flush with it. My first phone had the raised home button that was sticking much higher then the other side...

Anyway I have a 10/12 phone. Battery has gotten better over time with use and charging. I am not satisfied with the volume of my phone, but I am learning to deal with it. I have listened to three other phones that had more projection and were louder so I know they are out there. I have no real problems with this phone other then unexpected battery life and not being happy with the volume, but they are probably more like design flaws then defect with my phone...

Yes..I exchanged mine for this same issue..Even with the screen protector on it would be elevated higher then I was comfortable with(fear of it getting caught on something)..I have a post on here somewhere that brings it up,and someone posted a screenshot of his,and it was crazy elevated
